We are seeking a dedicated HR People Partner, with a passion for fostering positive working relationships, to join a widely recognised and well loved UK business.You''ll be working for one of the UK''s most well-loved brands, having been established for nearly 150 years! With a number of distribution depots based all across the country, this will role will be based at their largest site based in Enfield. This role plays a crucial part in supporting the 24/7 operation set up (this role is office based, Monday - Friday) and working alongside the 500 employees based at site.DescriptionThe People Partner will:Establish and maintain strong relationships with employees, providing guidance and supportDevelop and implement HR policies and proceduresWork collaboratively with senior management to drive the HR strategyProvide advice on HR best practicesWork with union representative as neededFacilitate performance management and employee development programsManage employee relations issues and workplace conflictsProfileA successful People Partner should have:Extensive knowledge of HR practices and policiesStrong interpersonal and communication skillsSolid understanding of employment legislationAbility to work collaboratively and build strong relationshipsPrior experience working within FMCG, Transport, Distribution, Manufacturing or other related industry (think shift patterns and unions!)Job OfferA salary of £60,000 - £65,000 per anumA supportive and inclusive work environmentOpportunities for professional growth and career progressionSeniority level
