Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer

Salary: -35,000 - -45,000 per annum

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join a dynamic engineering team based in Bedford. This role will focus on the design and development of mechanical components and systems using SolidWorks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed 3D models and engineering drawings using SolidWorks
  
  
• Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems
  
  
• Work closely with other engineering departments and manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility
  
  
• Modify designs based on feedback, testing, and performance
  
  
• Produce supporting documentation including BOMs, specifications, and reports
  
  

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer
  
  
• Proficiency in SolidWorks is essential
  
  
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles
  
  
• Good problem-solving and communication skills
  
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
