Mental Health Support Worker - (251394)Permanent, full time (37.5 hpw), working on a rota to cover a mixture of days, evenings, weekends and sleep in night cover. Covering our services in Worcester and Kidderminster. Earn £12.60 per hour (salary £24,638 per annum) and great benefits including Health Cash Plan.Responsibilities

As our Support Worker, you\''ll be at the heart of supporting our customers who have complex mental health needs to develop their skills to live more independently in the community. You\''ll make a big difference each day as you help our customers achieve their hopes and aspirations.Typical day as our Support Worker: Assisting customers with practical, daily living tasks to develop their independence, helping them to achieve the goals, aspirations and outcomes documented in their support plans.We support people with mental health conditions who need some extra support to develop and rebuild their independent living skills.Helping customers with daily living activities such as making meals, shopping, budgeting, maintaining their tenancy and moving onto independent accommodation if they are able.Carrying out risk assessments, support planning, goal setting and regular reviews.Cuppas, chats and catch ups. There\''s no rushing from one customer to the next here! Passion to support our customers to live their best life, working together with an eye for detailExperience of caring for others, you may have worked in care before or have experience of caring for others such as family members or childrenThe ability to work on your own initiative, remain calm under pressure and have a resilient approachRecognise every customer is different and you\''re able to adopt a flexible, personal approach, listening to customers to understand their needsTo get from A to B, you\''ll need a vehicle insured for business purposes.
