We are looking for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join a growing business in Liverpool!The ideal candidate will be either qualified by experience or working towards a qualification in ACCA, CIMA, or AAT. This person should also have audit experience and the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesSupporting preparation of weekly management accounts with KPIs and supporting informationSupporting preparation of monthly management accountsCompleting variance analysis of weekly accounts vs monthly accounts vs budgetsCompleting bank reconciliations and cash at hand reconciliationsPreparing weekly/monthly payroll analysis and journalsCalculating and scheduling accruals and prepaymentsPreparing balance sheet reconciliations and investigating variances as requiredSupporting the finance team in preparation of annual budgets and forecastsInternal audits to sites to maintain/strengthen controlsAssisting with year-end audits and auditorsProducing supporting information for taxation computation on a monthly basisExperience and SkillsQualified by experience or working towards ACCA, CIMA, or AATThree years'' experience within a similar role, working independently to complete monthly management accountsExcellent IT skills including MS ExcelGreat communication skills and ability to relay key information to colleagues and ..... full job details .....
