Planner Glasgow Up to £60,000 DOE + Car / Allowance + Excellent Bonus First Task Professional are delighted to be working alongside a contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering civil engineering and infrastructure projects across multiple sectors throughout the UK. Due to recent framework wins, they are gearing up to deliver 6 substation upgrades, 3 OHL diversions and 1 new build OHL route and as such are looking to build their team from the front end with both a Planner and a Senior Planner to work on these early-stage projects. They have a 5 year pipeline of projects for this individual framework alone with further awards on the horizon. Responsibilities Develop and manage detailed P6 programmes across all project phases. Review drawings, perform material take-offs, and calculate activity durations. Integrate subcontractor programmes with internal schedules. Produce and update programmes, narratives, and dashboards to meet deadlines. Support pre-contract, operational, and commercial teams with planning input. Translate civil construction methods into programme logic. Lead collaborative planning sessions and communicate plans to stakeholders. Manage change events in line with NEC contracts, supporting entitlement claims. Provide lookahead schedules to operational teams. Requirements HND or equivalent in Civil Engineering/Construction.
