Deputy Centre Manager Staines (Job Share)Location: Staines Community Centre, with cover across all 3 Centres in Spelthorne. 14.4 hours per week (2 days per week: Monday and Tuesday). Salary: £12,547 - £14,919 p.a. (pro rata).Responsibilities

Provide social and physical activities for older people; tasks may include kitchen work, running Centres with no on-site supervision, and driving Meals on Wheels.Work across multiple Centres in Spelthorne and adapt to changing priorities in a busy environment.Deliver high-quality care and maintain composure when engaging with older people who may be vulnerable.Utilise strong organisation and communication skills to support Centre operations and health and safety practices.Qualifications and requirements

Enthusiastic, flexible approach and the ability to think on your feet.A caring disposition with the ability to remain calm in all circumstances.Excellent organisational and communication skills.Knowledge of health and safety and food hygiene regulations is desirable.Auditable English language competence for customer-facing posts, in line with the Code of Practice on English language requirements for public sector workers and Immigration Act 2016.Role subject to enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.Employment checks and terms
