Senior Architectural TechnologistLocation: CambridgeSalary: £40-50,000An innovative and well-established design practice is looking for a Senior Architectural Technologist to join its Cambridge studio. This permanent position provides the chance to take a lead role in delivering outstanding projects across a wide range of sectors. The role involves overseeing the technical design process and ensuring projects are executed to the highest level. Combining technical expertise with design sensitivity, you will work closely with clients, consultants, and team members to produce well-considered, practical solutions. This is a role suited to someone with strong leadership skills, precision, and the ability to guide and support project teams in a fast-paced studio setting.Key Responsibilities

Lead the technical delivery and coordination of projects from initial concept through to completionProduce, review, and oversee comprehensive technical drawings, specifications, and associated documentsEnsure all work complies with current Building Regulations, statutory requirements, and industry standardsCollaborate effectively with clients, consultants, and contractors to achieve successful outcomesMentor and support junior colleagues, helping to foster a positive and collaborative workplace cultureQualifications and Skills

Degree, HNC, or HND in Architectural TechnologyCIAT Chartered Membership (or working towards) desirableProven background in technical design and project deliveryStrong knowledge of BIM processes and proficiency with standard industry softwareExcellent leadership, communication, and teamwork abilitiesExperience working across multiple sectors (e.g., education, residential, industrial) advantageousAbility to manage several live projects simultaneously with strong organisational skillsHow to apply
