It offers an elegant Japanese dining experience ranging from omakase and bento box dishes to wagyu croquettes, sake cocktails, and Japanese-style afternoon tea.As we work to maintain high standards across both venues, we''re looking for an exceptional Restaurant Manager who can unify leadership and elevate guest experience across both concepts.Position OverviewRole: Restaurant Manager overseeing operations at both Engawa (Soho) and AKIRA (Kensington)Employment Type: Permanent, London-basedVisa Status: Valid Permanent Right to Work in the UK required (e.g., settled/pre-settled status, Indefinite Leave to Remain)Salary: From £50,000 per annum (including service charge)Key ResponsibilitiesLead all facets of both front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) operations: staffing, guest service excellence, kitchen coordination, inventory management, and financial performance.Maintain consistent excellence in service quality and ambiance across two distinct yet complementary venues.Report formally to board-level members/ownerspreparing and delivering performance updates, financial reports, and strategic insights.Foster and sustain collaboration and communication between both restaurant teams, promoting shared goals and cross-venue synergy.Apply operational and brand alignment strategies to ensure both restaurants uphold the highest standards of authenticity and hospitality.RequirementsExperience: Minimum 5 years in restaurant management, with demonstrable experience managing FOH, BOH, and kitchen functions, ideally under owner-led or executive-level leadership.Proven ability to manage multiple venues or a multi-concept operation.Strong experience in reporting to board members or owners, including financial and operational analytics and presentations.Fluency in English; proficiency in Japanese is a strong plus (valuable for alignment with Japanese culinary culture and enhancing guest engagement).Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Passion for preserving and delivering genuine Japanese dining experiences in a high-end London restaurant setting.To ApplyPlease send your CV and cover letter to our recruitment team at [Insert email/contact method].TPBN1_UKCT
