is part of Circle Health Group , Britain''s leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals and clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.We have an opportunity for a Lead Engineer to join our team of staff in the Maintenance Department.This is a Full time role for 37.5 hours a week.The successful candidate must reside in or near the area, as the position is based at the hospital.Duties of this role include:The provision of Engineering Maintenance and breakdown support to the hospital.Management and reporting of R and M budgets, reviewing and commenting as appropriate.Management of Environment and energy reductionProvide competent Technical, Health, Safety and Environmental support and assistance to ED’s and local Hospital Managers, Project Managers and / or Minor works Managers.Work with the senior leadership team to develop and implement the management tools necessary to operate their facilities to the required standard.Liaise with the Regional Engineering Manager and Hospital Operations Manager to support and advise on appropriate engineering issuesCover your cluster sites to meet on-call requirements.Attend regional/cluster meetings and training courses when requiredProvide support to sites within your cluster when required for Holiday, sickness, Vacancy’s, and or general support provisionApplicants should meet the following criteria:City and Guilds Part 3, HNC, or NVQ Level 4 (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.CSCS card or ECS card (if electrically qualified) at the appropriate level.Proven experience in engineering maintenance, ideally within a hospital or similar critical services environment.Experience in team leadership, task allocation, and performance management.Comprehensive understanding of health and safety legislation, including risk management, fire safety, and Legionella prevention.Strong fault-finding, organisational, and communication skills.Salary and BenefitsCircle Health Group is committed to offering competitive starting salaries and access to a wide range of employee benefits, including:25 days holiday per year + bank holidays, increasing to 30 days with servicePrivate Healthcare Scheme for treatment at our hospitals, covering pre-existing medical conditionsFriends and Family Hospital DiscountsFamily Friendly policies, including enhanced Maternity, Paternity and Adoption payNon-contributory life insuranceStaff engagement hub with access to discounts and extensive rewards and voluntary benefitsAccess to resources, tools and services to support your wellbeingEmployee recognition programmesIndustry leading training and development opportunities…and much more!Circle Health Group is committed to creating a diverse workforce offering inclusive opportunities for all our colleagues.
