Senior Sous Chef

We are looking for an experienced
Senior Sous Chef
to join a closely knit 7-chef brigade, working closely with Head Chef to develop the kitchen team.This is a
new role
created to strengthen the team. The right candidate will be a highly skilled chef with strong management abilities, a passion for sustainability, and creativity in seasonal cooking.Your role will include:Support the Head Chef in leading day-to-day kitchen operations across all areas including pub, dining room and events space.Develop and execute menus using seasonal, locally sourced ingredientsChampion low-waste cooking practices in line with WRAP objectives.Manage ordering, stock control, and supplier relationships with a focus on sustainability.Mentor, train, and develop junior chefsEnsure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.Previous experience as a Sous Chef in a busy gastro pub or fresh food restaurant is ideal.Immediate start available.TPBN1_UKCT
