We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced EV Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Hertford. As a key member of our electrical contracting business, you will lead the delivery of Electric Vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure projects across commercial and residential sites. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical knowledge, project management skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

• Manage end-to-end delivery of EV charging projects, from planning and design through to installation and commissioning.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, DNOs, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Conduct site surveys and risk assessments.
• Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with current regulations and health & safety standards.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
• Provide technical support and guidance to installation teams.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting.

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
• City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing)
• Proven experience in managing electrical installation projects, ideally within the EV charging sector.
• Strong understanding of EV charging technologies and infrastructure.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

• SMSTS or SSSTS certification.
• Experience working with DNOs and ICPs.
• Knowledge of OCPP and smart charging systems.
