SEND Teaching Assistant
About the Role: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and inclusive school community. You will work closely with teachers and other professionals to support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, helping them access learning and achieve their full potential.Key Responsibilities:Provide 1:1 or small-group support to pupils with a range of SEND needsAssist in adapting classroom resources and activities to meet individual learning plansPromote positive behaviour and emotional well-beingWork collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and external agenciesHelp create an inclusive and nurturing learning environmentSupport pupils with personal care needs (if required)Maintain accurate records of progress and observationsAbout You:Experience working with children with SEND (desirable but not essential)A patient, empathetic, and resilient approachStrong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to adapt quickly and use initiativeA genuine passion for supporting children with additional needsWillingness to undergo relevant training and safeguarding checksWhat We Offer:A welcoming and committed staff teamOngoing training and professional developmentA chance to make a real difference in the lives of young peopleSupportive leadership and a positive school cultureHow to Apply: Please send your CV and a brief covering statement to .
