The main purpose of the role is to manage, lead, and take accountability for related project work. You will ensure all project tasks are supported by adequate process notes and guidance. Acting as a project lead, you will ensure project risks are identified and deliveries remain on target. You will interact with clients where relevant and provide thought leadership and guidance to clients while supporting the project team of SMEs, Business Analysts, and Project Managers. You will also act as a key point of contact between the client and the team, facilitating communication and ensuring project alignment.Core Duties/Responsibilities
Proactively engage and maintain links with stakeholders to communicate clearly, listen to, and explore requirements, and present advice.Work with various departments to collaborate effectively with Business Analysts and Project Management to ensure alignment.Ensure deliverables align with the wider strategic focus and are clearly communicated to stakeholders.Within a governance framework, ensure stakeholder engagement and approval of deliverables and milestones.Serve as a focal point for queries, providing expert advice and guidance.Support the lifecycle of requirements and analyze new projects or enhancements to existing projects.Oversee and contribute to changes and enhancements to services, identifying and quantifying benefits.Analyze data to produce solutions, cleanse data, or diagnose performance issues.Understand legislative changes and engage with business and technical analysts for input and advice.Identify benefits and opportunities for improvement.Estimate and plan project scope and deliverables with the Project Manager.Monitor progress, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget, and report on progress.Ensure documentation is approved and issued according to contractual terms, scope, and standards.Ensure all aspects of the project are delivered to required standards and resolve issues through stakeholder dialogue.Skills, Knowledge and Experience
Strong relationship-building skills with clients, understanding their needs, and managing expectations.Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently.Leadership skills to motivate and guide teams, fostering collaboration.Experience in consulting or similar environments, with a proven track record of delivering projects.Experience in mentoring teams and ensuring quality work.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Experience working within regulated environments, preferably in the financial sector.Knowledge of Business Process Modelling Tools (e.g., Visio) and MS Office Suite, including MS Project, Excel, and Word.Pensions experience is preferred.What We Offer
