Supporting multiple UK sites, you will play a key role in maintaining toolroom operations, ensuring high standards in both ongoing tool manufacture and tool maintenance activities. 40,000- 43,000, Monday-Friday, 32+ days holiday As a Toolmaker, your responsibilities will include:Servicing and repairing injection mould tools, including fault-finding and breakdown responseManufacturing new tooling and carrying out tool modificationsOperating a range of conventional toolroom machineryTo be successful in the role of Toolmaker, the ideal candidate will:Have extensive experience in the repair, maintenance, and manufacture of injection mould toolsBe capable of producing high-precision machined parts using standard manual toolroom machinery (e.g. milling machines, lathes, surface and cutter grinders)Demonstrate proficiency in the use of small hand tools and air grindersBe able to accurately interpret and work from engineering drawingsPossess strong bench fitting and finishing skillsBe time-served or have significant, proven experience working as an Injection Mould Toolmaker With a strong customer base and a proven track record, this company offers excellent job stability alongside varied and engaging work.
