Lead Systems AdministratorAnnual Salary: 47,243Location: TauntonJob Type: Full-time, HybridWe are seeking a highly experienced Lead Systems Administrator with a solid background in technical engineering, systems, and infrastructure.Day-to-day of the role:Provide support and perform system administration tasks for technical systems environments, primarily including Firewalls, Load Balancers, VPNs, wireless networks, and LAN infrastructure.Lead the design, configuration, development, testing, and deployment of network and application security solutions to meet complex business and user needs.Offer technical support and systems administration for all Cloud platforms in use, including MS Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.Gather, review, and analyse complex business and user requirements to enable effective solution designs.Provide expertise and technical input into projects, helping to design systems that are secure, resilient, and functional.Conduct routine monitoring and analysis, including audit log reports evaluation, system and storage utilisation reports, and manage site collection quota settings, escalating potential concerns to Technology Senior Managers.Participate in a 1-week in every 3 on-call rota, handling issues outside of regular office hours if required.Required Skills and Qualifications:Significant experience as a senior team member or leader within systems administration.Solid technical engineering experience, particularly with Firewalls, Load Balancers, VPNs, ..... full job details .....
