Position : Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, Mechanical Fitter

Location : Sheffield

Shifts : Monday to Friday days (early finish Friday) - some flexi-time available

Overtime : Regularly available

Sector : Metals manufacturing, engineering

The Role :

- Reactive and preventative maintenance of a range of production machinery including machine tools, CNC equipment, lathes, milling machines, grinders, heat treatment

- Upkeep of the CMMS

- Ensuring an adequate supply of spare parts

- Project work - machine movement / calibration / installation, continuous improvement projects

- Maintenance of tooling

- Oversee work of third part sub-contractors

About you :

- Time served / qualified to HNC level in an engineering subject, mechanical engineering preferred

- Proven experience of working as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / Mechanical Fitter

- Experience of the repair / service / maintenance of machine tools

- Competent with hydraulics

- Team player

- Focused on Health and Safety - IOSH certified preferred but not essential
