Plater Fabricator - Skilled Fabrication and Welding Role Location: Kingswinford, West Midlands Salary: ?16.00 - ?17.00 per hour (depending on experience) Overtime: Paid at 1.5x after 37 hours per week Hours: Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 16:00 Friday: 07:30 - 12:30 About the Role We are looking for an experienced Plater Fabricator to join our dynamic and skilled fabrication team in a modern, ISO-certified engineering facility. As part of our team, you will play a key role in producing heavy-duty steel fabrications and structural components for demanding industries such as nuclear, subsea, oil and gas, mining, scientific research, and power generation. Key Responsibilities As a Plater Fabricator, your duties will include: MIG and TIG Welding: Perform welding in line with BS EN ISO (phone number removed):2017+A1:2019 Level 2 standards. Certification Maintenance: Qualify and maintain certifications to BS EN ISO 9606-1:2017 welding standards. Fabrication: Work with carbon and stainless steel components ranging from 6mm to 100mm thick. Structural Fabrication: Fabricate and assemble structural profiles such as beams, columns, channels, and angles. Overhead Cranes: Safely operate overhead cranes and lifting equipment for handling large components. Quality Compliance: Ensure all welds meet contract-specific NDT standards (DPI, MPI, UT) as required.
