We are currently looking for a reliable and hardworking Refuse Loader / Waste Collection Operative to join our team. This role involves working as part of a waste collection crew, supporting the driver with the safe and efficient collection of general waste, recycling, and food waste from residential and commercial areas. This is a physically active role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities Assist with the collection of refuse and food waste along designated routes Load and empty waste bins safely into collection vehicles Ensure all waste is handled in line with health and safety procedures Work closely with the driver and team members to complete daily collection rounds efficiently Maintain awareness of surroundings to ensure safe working practices at all times Report any issues or hazards to the supervisor or driver Requirements Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling throughout the shift Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team Previous experience in waste collection, loading, or similar work is beneficial but not essential as training will be provided A positive attitude and strong work ethic What We Offer Competitive hourly rate of 12.85 per hour Full training provided Full-time, stable work Supportive team environment If you''re interested in the position, please click apply and a memeber of our team will be in touch. ..... full job details .....
