Our client is seeking a proactive, hands-on Warehouse and Logistics Manager to lead day-to-day warehouse and transport operations at their premises in Trafford Park. This is a key role responsible for stock control, order picking, vehicle loading, route planning, fleet compliance and team management. You''ll ensure deliveries and collections run safely, efficiently and on time (98% OTIF target), while managing costs and maintaining full compliance with UK transport and health and safety legislation.This is a very reactive, ''boots on the ground'' role that requires a great deal of organisation, flexibility and agility to cope with a constantly changing logistics provision. Delivery of customer orders, collections of materials for stock, finished products from offsite workshops and raw materials for processing at the site and beyond from their partner suppliers, must be carried out within a time constrained schedule. The post holder will be required to ensure appropriate, robust processes are in place within the warehousing area.
