Assistant Production Manager 

We are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Production Manager to join a very well established team. Our client is a global leader in the food manufacturing industry. This is a great opportunity, offering stability and the chance to grow within an expanding company. This will be a very hands on role working on the shop floor.

This will be a temp – perm role for the right candidate

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Lead and manage team leaders and over see the shopfloor staff 
• Set and manage production targets 
• Work collaboratively with other Team Leaders and Shift Managers for smooth operations
• Support team development through training and upskilling
• Conduct safety and food safety investigations as needed
• Manage team performance through regular reviews and support improvement initiatives
• Responisble for issuing and making sure production  plans are met 
• Organize staffing to cover holidays and absences effectively
• Oversee daily and weekly staffing, performance and KPI’s

Experience Required :

• Must have a Minimum of  2 - 3 years Experience in a Production Management Role 
• Experience in a production or manufacturing environment
• Previous leadership experience in a similar role

Hours of work : - Monday – Friday 7.30am- 17.00pm

Pay Rate  £19 plus per hour depending on Experince
