Location: Farnborough Contract Type: Permanent Salary: £47,500 - £51,000 per annum + Benefits About the Role Trevett Services are seeking an experienced Data Centre Shift Technician to join a leading data centre engineering team in Farnborough. You ll play a key role in maintaining and supporting critical site operations ensuring reliability, uptime, and compliance across all mechanical and electrical services. This hands-on position involves delivering planned preventative maintenance, reactive tasks, and minor installations, while supporting subcontractor control and ensuring technical excellence in a fast-paced, high-availability environment. Key Responsibilities Carry out PPM, reactive, and ad-hoc maintenance tasks to meet service level agreements (SLAs). Maintain accurate work logs and records using the CMMS system. Qualify and act as an Authorised Person (AP) within six months of onboarding. Perform isolations and reinstatements on electrical, gas, fire alarm, and sprinkler systems when authorised. Issue and manage permits to work for access, maintenance, and project activities. Ensure all contractors and site personnel comply with safety and security policies. Participate in ongoing critical systems training programmes. Operate as part of a collaborative shift team, providing cover for holidays, sickness, and training absences.
