Our long-established Douglas-based Corporate Service Provider, part of a diverse group of companies, is seeking an experienced Client Accountant to join their established, friendly team. As Client Accountant here you will: Support administrators by providing responses to accounting queries from clients Prepare financial statements and tax returns for a portfolio of clients, including aircraft, yachting and investment companies and trusts Preparation of management accounts for clients Preparation and filing of VAT returns for clients Review of VAT returns for client companies, VAT Business Plans, and liaise with VAT office Assist with Income Tax Economic Substance S84 enquiries Assistance with project to transfer client accounting records from VT to NAV One Liaise with administrators, auditors and third parties to offer the highest standard of service to all clients Maintain the department''s compliance with legislation, policies and procedures Attend operational meetings The ideal candidate for the role of Client Accountant will be: ACCA/ACA qualified or similar preferred, but will consider qualified by experience Knowledge and understanding of UK GAAP, FRS 102 s1A, IFRS 3-5 years experience preparing financial statements for a portfolio of active clients in a CSP environment Strong Excel skills and ability to work without direct supervision and to tight deadlines Professional and approachable demeanor, good communication skills, and a team player Desirable Knowledge of ..... full job details .....
