As a Production Operative, you will produce excellent results by following standard work, converting work materials into finished goods, continually improving the work environment by, helping the team to achieve the required metrics for the area. Production, packing and palletising of the meat product through the manufacturing process. The role is in an ambient or chilled manufacturing environment and all personal protective equipment will be provided including safety footwear, overalls and gloves. Production Operative- the role: Be comfortable working and packing in a busy indoor meat manufacturing area. Manual handling will be involved in this role including pushing and lifting Workers must be able to handle raw meat Workers must demonstrate reliability Ability to work within a fast-paced environment Can work to targets and deadlines and is flexible in their approach You must be comfortable with standing for long period Ability to complete required standard of work at full line speed. Able to work with and contribute as part of a large site team and to multi-task Work within the food safety/ health and safety and specific site regulations.
