The Manufacturing Process Engineer will work closely with the wider engineering team to develop new processes for NPI, improve existing processes to maximise efficiency, and support scale-up transitions for high volume production projects.Responsibilities

Day to day support of production, troubleshooting issues with manufacturing equipment in a timely mannerDeveloping and optimising processes in the manufacture of microelectronics productsCommissioning and qualifying new manufacturing equipmentProducing technical documentation, such operating instructions, inspection standards and PFMEAsSupporting the transition of products from NPI to productionProvide training and support to other production operatorsPro-actively identify opportunities to improve yield or manufacturing efficiency and to instigate and support continuous improvement activitiesGain and maintain detailed knowledge of the production process and equipmentLiaising with customers and suppliersEnsure safe working practices are adopted and health and safety legislation are adhered to when implementing new products, materials processes, or equipmentRequirements

Degree/HNC in an engineering discipline or equivalent experienceSound knowledge of engineering principles and concepts; Lean, 8D, Design of experimentsFamiliarity with electronics and mechanical CAD designHave a strong technical bias, with strong problem-solving abilitiesA good level of competence with MS Office applications for documentation and presenting reportsDesirable Experience
