Hours: Full Time
Location: North West London
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Surveyor to join our team. As a Senior Surveyor, you will provide technical expertise and guidance to the Responsive Repairs Team, ensuring that repairs are carried out to the highest standards within agreed timescales. You will also play a key role in developing and implementing our customer experience strategy, leading by example, and driving continuous improvement. Required Skills
- Excellent technical surveying skills, including use of SOR, PPP inclusions and exclusions, and technical diagnosis.
- Strong customer service skills, with a commitment to delivering continuous improvements based on customer feedback.
- Proven ability to lead by example, manage multiple tasks and projects, and prioritize effectively.
- Experience in managing teams, developing staff, and driving improvements in service delivery
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sensible distinctions and decisions based on differing priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with contractors, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- RICS qualified or working towards qualification (or equivalent).
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience in use of scott schedules, and cost modelling.
- Knowledge of the principles of collaborative and partnership working, including cost management and budgeting.
- Experience in negotiating with contractors to deliver improvements in service delivery and/or value for money.
- Strong health and safety awareness, with the ability to work safely and in accordance with policies, procedures, systems, and processes.
Preferred Education and Experience
- RICS qualified or working towards qualification (or equivalent).
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering excellent results and driving continuous improvement.
- Experience in a housing or property management context, with a strong understanding of the principles of collaborative and partnership working.
Other Requirements
- Willingness to work under pressure and respond quickly to changes, circumstances, and tight timetables.
- Ability to work out of hours, as required.
- Strong IT skills, with the ability to use various software systems and tools.
