We are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Residential Site Manager to oversee a residential development in Coventry. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established contractor on a long-term project delivering high-quality homes.

The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all on-site activities to ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget.
• Coordinate subcontractors and site labour effectively.
• Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety regulations and company procedures.
• Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks and regular safety inspections.
• Monitor build quality and ensure works meet NHBC standards.
• Manage site documentation, RAMS and daily records.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors and senior management teams.
• Drive programme performance and resolve site issues promptly.
• Maintain excellent standards of housekeeping and site presentation.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Residential Site Manager on housing developments.
• Strong knowledge of NHBC standards and UK building regulations.
• Experience delivering projects for national or regional housebuilders is preferred.
• Valid SMSTS certificate.
• Valid CSCS card.
• First Aid at Work certificate.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
