About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the end-to-end migration of our clients mortgage servicing operations onto a new outsourced platform provider. This is not just a technology migration — it is a full provider-to-provider transition covering systems, services, contracts, and people.
The successful candidate will bring a proven playbook from having delivered large-scale outsource migrations before, enabling them to take ownership from vendor contract negotiation through to service transition, platform migration, and operational go-live.
Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end delivery of the mortgage outsource provider migration, covering technology, operations, and service transition.
Manage contract negotiation with the new vendor, ensuring SLAs, KPIs, service levels, TUPE, and regulatory requirements are robustly defined.
Own the migration and implementation plan, including data migration, service continuity, parallel running, and cutover.
Build and lead a cross-functional programme team, ensuring collaboration between internal stakeholders, incumbent provider, and new vendor.
Deliver clear, concise ExCo-level reporting, highlighting programme risks, dependencies, and strategic decisions.
Drive robust governance and risk management, ensuring regulatory compliance, operational resilience, and smooth customer experience throughout the transition.
Oversee change management and stakeholder engagement to embed the new service and operating model.
Requirements
Proven track record of delivering mortgage outsource provider-to-provider migrations, including contract negotiation and service transition.
Deep knowledge of mortgage platforms, operations, and the end-to-end mortgage lifecycle.
Strong expertise in vendor management and the complexities of managing incumbent and incoming outsource partners.
Demonstrable ability to bring a structured methodology for migrations, including lessons learned, checklists, and risk frameworks.
Experience engaging at C-Suite/ ExCo level, with confidence presenting to senior executives and influencing strategic decisions.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills within a retail banking or financial services context.
