About the Role
As Management Accountant, you will play a central role in producing accurate and timely financial reports, maintaining financial controls, and supporting operational teams with insightful analysis. You will be part of a collaborative finance team working in a modern facility alongside passionate professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver monthly management accounts and weekly KPI reporting
- Manage accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Oversee accounts payable ledger and weekly payment runs
- Prepare VAT and Intrastat returns for HMRC
- Monitor budget variances and support cost control initiatives
- Provide training on business reporting and KPIs
- Liaise with operational staff to resolve supplier invoice issues
- Champion process improvements and efficient ways of working
What We Are Looking For
- 3 years experience in a Management Accountant role
- Strong understanding of financial transactions and reporting
- Excellent Excel skills and experience with Sage 200
- AAT qualified or part-qualified CIMA or ACCA
- Strong reconciliation skills and attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities
- Experience in a fast-paced SME environment, ideally within automotive or motorsport
