An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly passionate, experienced and caring Nursery Manager to join a small independent school with children aged 2 to 11 years. The school has been running since 1936. The school values each and every member of the staff team and recognise that people can bring different ideas and suggestions all of which are equally valued. Team members are considered extended family and most of the staff have worked with the school for many years. The Nursery opened in 2008 and has continued to grow and develop our children since then. There are two year groups; Acorns for children aged 2-3 and Oaks for children aged 3-4. Responsibilities The Nursery Manager will be a pivotal role in managing the day-to-day running of the nursery throughout the year. As well as being in the Acorns classroom during term time and with Acorns and Oaks in the school holidays, the Nursery Manager will be responsible for marketing the Nursery to ensure numbers remain buoyant, this will include planning open mornings and looking into new opportunities to promote the wonderful, nurturing set up that we have. The successful candidate will work with the Head of EYFS, Oaks Coordinator and the Holidays School Coordinator to ensure high quality teaching, care and planning are managed throughout the nursery.
