The Drama teachers also host trips both domestically and internationally, which fosters an interactive learning environment.  

Position Overview

The school is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Drama Teacher to join its thriving Arts Faculty. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated educator to inspire students across all key stages and to contribute fully to the school’s outstanding co-curricular programme.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Drama lessons across Key Stages 3–5

  • Direct and support school productions, drama showcases, and clubs

  • Foster a love of performance and storytelling in every student

  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback

  • Promote values such as self-expression, confidence, and collaboration

  • Engage in the wider life of the school, including co-curricular and pastoral responsibilities

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds a degree in Drama or a related field

  • Possesses QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

  • Has experience teaching Drama up to A-Level (ECTs are welcome to apply)

  • Demonstrates passion for the performing arts and creative education

  • Exhibits strong communication, organisational and classroom management skills

  • Values student voice and is committed to helping girls build confidence through performance
