HEALTH and SAFETY MANAGER:A fantastic opportunity has arisen, for an experienced Health and Safety Manager to join this well established Engineering company near Ringwood. HEALTH and SAFETY MANAGER KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: With a proactive, hands on approach, the successful Health and Safety Manager will lead and continuously improve the health and safety practices across the operation. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, promoting a culture of safety, and protecting the wellbeing of all employees. Overall responsibility for the Health and Safety function: Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies, procedures, and management systems Conduct regular risk assessments and audits across all departments and ensure appropriate mitigation strategies are in place. Lead investigations in response to accidents / incidents or other near misses, and ensure root cause analysis and corrective actions are completed effectively Monitor and ensure compliance with UK health and safety legislation, industry standards, and company policies. Health and Safety Training: Deliver engaging training and induction programs for new and existing employees, and champion a culture of continuous improvement in Healthand Safety performance.
