You will be ensuring compliance across the firm with SRA regulations and statutory requirements e.g. on data protection, bribery and corruption, and conflict of interest, as well as compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.Key Responsibilities:Ensure firm-wide compliance with SRA regulations and the SRA HandbookIdentify and report material breaches to the SRADevelop and maintain AML policies and proceduresLiaise with the SRA and other regulatory bodies as applicablePerform client due diligence and enhanced due diligence checksImplement and maintain compliance policies and proceduresDevelop and implement risk management and compliance strategiesConduct risk assessments and internal audits as requiredManage the firm''s complaints processMonitor adherence to AML, legal, regulatory, and internal policy requirementsCreate and maintain compliance documentation and reportsRegularly review and update internal policies and proceduresProvide training related mattersInvestigate potential compliance violationsAdvise management on risk mitigation strategiesIt is essential that you have a solid background and experience in legal compliance and AML from another London law firm as well as having in-depth knowledge of SRA regulations and legal sector money launderings risks.
