Overview

Senior Compliance Manager and MLRO (SMF17) – Consumer Lending – London (Hybrid, 3 days a week in the office) – £90k - £110k + benefits. This role has the potential to develop into a Head of Compliance (SMF16) position within 12-18 months. The business is under new leadership and geared for significant growth; the role will become an SMF16 position as the company expands into new markets.Responsibilities

Lead the core compliance initiatives and the company’s control framework by building relationships with key stakeholders, promoting an ethical working environment and driving regulatory change.Provide regulatory advice, guidance and challenge to the business, promote a culture of continued improvement in the quality of the customer experience and ensure the fair treatment of customers is at the heart of the business.Act as the Consumer Duty lead for the business and take on MLRO (SMF17) responsibilities.Operate as the sole Compliance specialist initially (within 2nd line reporting to the CEO) with scope to build a small team as the business grows.Qualifications

Experienced senior Compliance professional from the consumer lending arena.Familiar with regulations impacting this sector, including CONC and Consumer Duty in particular.Excellent communication skills.Benefits and Details
