Job Title: Warehouse Operative
Location: Lincoln Teal Park & Main Works sites
Contract Details:
- Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract
- Contract Length: 6 months
- Working Pattern: Full Time
- Shift Pattern
The hours would be 07.30 -16.00 four days per week and 07.30 -14.00 one day per week ,with lunch taken away(this equates to 37 hours per week)
- Hourly Rate: -14.25

Responsibilities:
As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient and accurate logistics processing. Your tasks will include:
- Receiving and inspecting goods, comparing them with shipping documents and checking for any visible damage.
- Using transport equipment, such as forklifts and hand-guided industrial trucks, safely and effectively.
- Capture relevant data in data processing systems.
- Organise the acceptance, storage, commissioning, and removal of goods, ensuring regular stock maintenance and inventory.
- Assemble deliveries from storage compartments, checking for completeness and accuracy.
- Complete packaging of deliveries according to shipping instructions and add necessary shipping documents.
- Transport goods within the premises and, if required, outside using appropriate means of transportation.
Essential Skills:
- Experience in a similar warehouse operative role.
- Forklift certification.
- Strong data management skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with inventory management systems.
- Knowledge of packaging and shipping regulations.
- Familiarity with logistics processes.
- Previous experience in a high-volume warehouse.
