Following a successful probation period, they will support and fully fund your Level 3 Diploma in Residential Child Care, helping you build a long-term and rewarding career in care.About the RoleWe are currently recruiting Support/Care Workers to join a specialist residential children''s setting which provides care, education and therapeutic support for children and young people aged 9-19.The young people the home supports have severe and profound communication difficulties, often associated with conditions such as cerebral palsy, autism, brain injury and degenerative disorders. This is a challenging yet incredibly rewarding role where you can make a genuine difference every day.Key ResponsibilitiesProviding high-quality care and support during daily activities, including: Washing, dressing and personal careSocialising, learning and play activitiesSupporting therapy sessions, including hydrotherapy and rebound therapyBuilding strong, trusting relationships to empower children and young adults to grow and developEnsuring the environment is safe, supportive and enjoyableEncouraging independence, learning and social skill development ..... full job details .....
