Hybrid working from London offering flexibility and balance.Experience in banking specifically paymentsKey Responsibilities:Provide guidance to multiple engineering teams within the division, articulating clear objectives and nurturing a culture committed to excellence.Supervise software engineering practices through technical oversight and people-centred leadershipFormulate and execute change management strategies that are congruent with organisational priorities and support enduring business objectives.Shape the technical roadmap for payments services by anticipating multifaceted challenges and discerning strategic opportunities for advancement.Uphold resilience standards for critical business operations by instituting protocols designed to maintain and restore essential systems efficiently.Mentor, coach, and develop team members to foster a high-achieving environment that encourages continual learning and adaptation to emerging technologiesKey Requirements:Experience within engineering roles pertinent to payments or financial servicesExtensive experience providing engineering leadership across multiple teams with demonstrable oversight of significant software development undertakings.Proven ability to deliver effective change management strategies that reinforce organisational objectives on a substantial scale.Demonstrated proficiency in devising strategic solutions that address enduring business requirements through anticipation of complex challenges.Comprehensive understanding of resilience imperatives for critical business functions including maintenance and recovery procedures.Success in cultivating high-performing team cultures through attentive mentoring, coaching, and recognition of talent.Dedication to team development with encouragement towards embracing new technologies and evolving methodologies.Capacity to inspire delivery by championing simplicity whilst engendering confidence among colleagues through transparent communication.Consistent focus on delivering favourable outcomes for clients with readiness to challenge established conventions constructively.
