Class 2 Skip Driver

Pertemps Stoke are currently recruiting a Class 2 / HGV 2 / LGV 2 Skip Driver to work out of their client based in Stoke on Trent.

For this Class 2 / HGV 2 / LGV 2 Skip Driver role, you will be responsible for:

• Delivering and collecting skips across Stoke-on-Trent and surrounding areas
• Carrying out skip exchanges (removing full skips and replacing with empty ones)
• Operating a Class 2 skip wagon (skip loader / hook loader) safely and efficiently
• Navigating tight residential streets, building sites, and commercial premises
• Completing daily vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations
• Providing excellent customer service when dealing with customers on-site
• Returning skips to the yard for unloading and recycling

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
• CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• Previous experience driving skip wagons – Minimum 1 year experience
• Good communication and customer service skills

• Monday to Friday
• 07:00 – 17:00
• £14.50 per hour
• Ongoing work with the opportunity to go permanent after 12 weeks
