Atheray Stone are currently looking for a Site Engineer to work for a Main Contractor who are delivering key infrastructure works for Oxfordshire County Council. The Ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a Highways or Structures environment, for a similar Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor. Responsibilities: Perform surveying and setting out duties Review drawings and quantities for accuracy Schedule materials and coordinate with procurement Plan and organise site operations to meet deadlines Liaise with consultants and subcontractors Supervise site labour and subcontractor performance Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards Maintain quality records and resolve technical issues Arrange and conduct material testing and instrument calibration Maintain a detailed site diary Collaborate with the wider site team and other departments Identify and implement improvements and innovations Support the Sub / Site Agent with additional duties as required Candidate Profile Degree / HNC Qualified in Civil Engineering At least one year post grad experience working for Tier 1/ Tier 2 contractor Previous Highways / Structures experience Full UK Driving Licence If this sounds like an opportunity you''d be interested in discussing, please apply with your most up to date CV and we will get back to you when we can. ..... full job details .....
