The OpportunityWe are currently recruiting for a Grounds Maintenance Operative based in Oxshott. This is a temporary role starting in May and running until the end of June, working 40 hours per week. Working hours will be 7.00am to 3.00pm or 8.00am to 4.00pm. The pay rate is 15.68 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay). You will support the estates team in maintaining large outdoor areas to a high standard.Due to the location, having your own transport is highly desirable. Key ResponsibilitiesOperate ride-on mowers to maintain large grassed areasCarry out grass cutting, strimming, and edgingMaintain sports fields, playing areas, and open spacesKeep pathways, car parks, and external areas clean and tidyCarry out litter picking across the siteSupport the upkeep of fencing, signage, and outdoor facilitiesAssist the estates team with general grounds maintenance dutiesMaintain safe and presentable working areas at all times RequirementsPrevious grounds maintenance or outdoor work experience preferredAbility to operate machinery such as ride-on mowers (training can be provided)Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditionsReliable and punctualWilling to complete a DBS checkOwn transport preferred due to location Skills and QualitiesStrong work ethicGood attention to detailAbility to follow instructionsTeam player with a positive attitudePractical and hands-on approach What''s On Offer 15.68 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)Temporary role (May to end of June)40 hours per ..... full job details .....
