As the Voyage Optimisation Product Owner, you will be responsible for defining the vision and managing the Podium product development around Voyage optimisation. Your primary responsibility is to bridge the gap between stakeholders and the development team, ensuring that the product delivered meets customer needs and aligns with the company’s objectives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including business, design, and engineering, to ensure the product vision is executed efficiently and effectively.Responsibilities

Product Vision and Strategy: Develop, communicate, and maintain a clear product vision in alignment with company goals and market needs.Own and prioritise the product roadmap, making adjustments based on customer feedback, data analysis, and business needs.Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform product decisions.Backlog Management: Create, maintain, and prioritise the product backlog, ensuring it aligns with the overall product strategy and stakeholder needs.Write clear, concise, and detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.Ensure development teams understand requirements and have the necessary information to deliver high-quality features.Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders (internal teams, customers, and executives) and development teams.Gather feedback and requirements from users and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with product goals.Communicate product progress, roadmaps, and timelines effectively to all stakeholders.Collaboration and Leadership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, engineering, marketing, and sales) to define, develop, and deliver features that meet business and customer needs.Lead sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews, ensuring alignment between development work and product goals.Serve as a key decision-maker during the product development lifecycle, making trade-off decisions as necessary.Performance Monitoring and Improvement: Define and track key performance metrics (KPIs) to measure product success.Analyse product performance and user feedback to iterate and improve the product.Facilitate A/B testing and data-driven decision-making to validate product features and enhancements.Agile Processes: Champion agile methodologies within the team, continuously improving team performance and product delivery speed.Work closely with Scrum Masters and development teams to ensure smooth sprint execution and iterative product development.Required Skills

Experience:1-2 years experience working in a product management role or similar, ideally within an agile environment.Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and working with cross-functional teams.Strong experience in creating product roadmaps, writing user stories, and managing backlogs.Skills and Competencies:Meteorology, routing/forecasting experience would be a plus.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to translate technical details into business value and vice versa.Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyAnalytical mindset with experience in data analysis, A/B testing, and making data-driven product decisionsProficiency with product management tools (JIRA, Confluence etc)Additional Skills:Maritime technology experienceCertification in Agile methodologies (Certified Scrum Product Owner, etc.).Familiarity with UX/UI design principles.Education/Certifications
