This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking business as a Senior Laboratory Technician, leading and supporting laboratory operations.Working closely with the Site Manager and wider operations teams, you ll play a key role in maintaining the highest quality standards, driving improvements, and supporting the development of a skilled and motivated team.What you ll be doing:• Overseeing day-to-day operations across Wet and Thermal laboratories.• Managing and mentoring Laboratory Technicians, ensuring skill gaps are addressed and cover is maintained.• Ensuring all testing schedules are adhered to, with accurate records and compliance to SOPs.• Investigating and resolving technical issues, escalating when needed.• Maintaining equipment calibration and laboratory standards.• Supporting interdepartmental collaboration through clear communication.• Managing laboratory consumables and ensuring operational activity is never delayed.What we re looking for:• Previous experience as a Senior Laboratory Technician or Laboratory Technician, ideally within manufacturing, production sectors.• Strong practical and theoretical knowledge of laboratory processes and procedures.• Demonstrable team management and leadership experience.• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive, can-do approach.• Strong ..... full job details .....
