OM Search Consultants is working with a fantastic Manufacturing business in the Northamptonshire region. Due to their recent growth they now require a Financial Controller to work closely with and support the Finance Director. This is a great role for an experienced, "hands-on" Finance Professional who thrives in a fast paced and growing environment. As the Financial Controller you will oversee businesses within the portfolio and manage the financial aspects of each company, ensuring compliance, accurate reporting, and effective financial management.Requirements As the Financial Controller you will be responsible for: Preparation of monthly accounts and year end. Financial Reporting - Preparing and presenting financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements) for each company, ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Budgeting and Forecasting - Developing and managing budgets and forecasts for each company, monitoring performance against targets. Identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement, providing insights to support investment decisions. Establishing and maintaining internal controls to prevent fraud, minimize errors, and ensure data accuracy. Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating financial risks specific to each company within the portfolio.
