Assistant Manager, Pensions Actuarial Consultant role at Isio. We’re growing and want you to be part of our journey. Our Actuarial and Consulting Team comprises over 400 pensions experts advising clients across private, public and not-for-profit sectors.We advise on helping trustees and sponsors manage defined benefit plans, run large-scale communications projects and implement pension provision. We’re looking for experienced actuarial students with relevant UK DB Pensions industry experience to join our team. We seek individuals with excellent pensions consulting and technical skills, a commercial outlook and an entrepreneurial mindset.Day to day you will be:Playing a key role in the delivery of UK DB Pensions advice to clients – this may include managing key client projects directly, and/or supporting partners and directors to deliver to clients.Working on the technical aspects of projects, building relationships with clients, working as part of a team and developing those around you.Assisting in the development of new business with existing and new clients.As an Assistant Manager, leading the advancement of projects while supporting junior colleagues within the same team:Performing actuarial valuations and calculations for Trustees and advising them on how to run their schemes.Developing pensions strategies for corporate, public and not-for-profit organisations.Writing and delivering communications projects for members.Providing insurance transaction and scheme consolidation advice.Data projects such as benefit rectifications, pensions dashboards and GMP equalisation.Whatever you’re looking for, we can build a role to suit you and help you develop.Location and working pattern
Locations include Belfast, Birmingham, Bristol, Croydon, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, London, Manchester and Reading. We operate on a hybrid basis, with time split between office and home working. We foster strong communities across locations and teams through regular events.Key skills and experience
