Assistant General Manager Candidate Requirements:Proven experience in a senior restaurant role, ideally as an Assistant General Manager in a premium or high-volume venueSkilled in leading, training, and developing front-of-house teamsConfident in running busy dining operations, including multi-floor serviceStrong focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences, and handling complaints or special requests professionallyComfortable managing high guest volumes while remaining calm, organised, and detail-focusedKnowledge of premium service standards, with the ability to coach teams on upselling and menu recommendationsExperience working towards KPIs such as guest satisfaction and sales per headSolid understanding of health and safety, food hygiene, and licensing regulationsLeads by example with a positive, proactive, and guest-centric approach

Our journey began in 2018 with the launch of Casa do Frango in London Bridge

About MJMK Restaurants

In 2020, we partnered with chef patron Santiago Lastra to open KOL in Marylebone

a fine dining Mexican restaurant celebrating British ingredients. KOL earned a Michelin Star and ranks No. 49 on the Worlds 50 Best Restaurants list.

In 2024, we opened Fonda in Mayfair

our second collaboration with Santiago

and AngloThai in Marylebone, the debut from John and Desiree Chantarasak. Within three months, AngloThai earned a Michelin star.

In the 2025 National Restaurant Awards, AngloThai was named The Square Opening of the Year and ranked 7thin the Top 100 list, followed by KOL at number 50 and Lisboeta at 93rd place.
