Trade Compliance Co-ordinator / Customs Compliance Co-ordinator required for a freight forwarder in the Heathrow area, this freight forwarder imports and exports goods via air and ocean. The Compliance Co-ordinator will ensure all the paperwork is correct. You will be responsible for the Trade Compliance, CITES and Customs. £28K-31K, monday to friday The role As a Customs Compliance Co-ordinator you will be responsible for the following: Complete the Product Libraries Being able to determine correct tariff classifications for all supported brands within the Key Account function moving from the EU as required. Issuing country specific guidance (for the UK) to the business on additional import requirements for stock products predominantly from the EU. Providing support on internal projects where input, involvement or expertise where Trade Compliance is needed. Auditing and monitoring entries to ensure they are compliant with local import and export legislation, as well as to support brand KPI audit requirements. Ensure all operational activities are completed and followed up correctly in accordance with SOP s and organisational policy. Help facilitate Imports and Exports of non-stock goods, completing and supplying documents and declarations. Liaise with HMRC and assist with maintenance on customs procedures.
