Senior Quantity Surveyor position with Matchtech, seeking a dynamic, strategic and charismatic person to join the commercial team. The role involves delivering commercial excellence for clients and the business, with a focus on data-driven decision making, attention to detail and effective prioritisation.Responsibilities

Supervising subcontractors and managing accountsProviding support to the Commercial Manager and overseeing the commercial teamAddressing client disputes and conducting internal auditsMaintaining the commercial risk registerVerifying the accuracy of measurements during weekly valuationsConducting cost analysis and implementing cost reduction initiativesReviewing contracts and analysing ratesGenerating comprehensive Cost Value Reports (CVRs) for all projectsQualifications

Extensive experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor with strong commercial awareness and problem-solving skillsProven track record in compiling complex subcontract orders, including effective risk allocation and support for the operational teamExcellent commercial and communication skills, with leadership experience and ability to develop direct reportsInfluential communication and problem-solving skills, with advanced Excel skillsHold a degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or significant related experienceOur Company
