Senior Chartered Quantity Surveyor

Overview
Senior Quantity Surveyor role offering a clear pathway towards Associate/Partner level status for candidates with Chartered status or those working towards Chartered status.Responsibilities
Cost planning at various RIBA stages, including producing preliminary and detailed cost estimates from feasibility through to detailed design.Pre-Contract services, including:
Providing advice on procurement strategy, risk management, value engineering and the overall tendering processProvide advice on contract arrangementsPrepare tender documentsAdvising clients on tenders when received, including undertaking a full tender evaluationPrepare contract documentation
Post Contract services, including:
Providing advice on contractual matters / proceduresValuing completed work and approving progress paymentsMonitor changes in design and measure, value and negotiates variationsBudget management and cost reporting to the clientNegotiating final accounts
Working closely with the Team and mentoring / working with graduatesDeveloping existing client contacts and relationshipsDeveloping new client contacts and relationshipsWorking in a variety of sectors, including:
IndustrialResidentialCommercialBank Monitoring
Experience And Skills Required
Have achieved a RICS accredited degreeBe either qualified to Chartered status or working towards achieving thisBe able to evidence pre and post contract QS experience through examples of projects you have worked onSeniority level
