Fire Door Inspector

The role:

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Fire Door Inspector / Surveyor to join a specialist team. You will play a vital role in ensuring fire safety compliance by carrying out detailed inspections and assessments of fire doors across high-profile sites, including banks and hospitals in Central London.

• Conduct thorough inspections and surveys of fire doors in line with industry regulations.

• Identify and record defects, producing clear, detailed, and accurate reports.

• Advise clients on remedial actions to maintain compliance and safety standards.

• Work closely with facilities and safety teams to ensure all fire doors meet the latest legal and technical requirements.

• Certified Fire Door Inspector (FIRAS, BM TRADA, or IFC)
• In-depth knowledge of fire safety standards (BS 8214, Approved Document Part B)
• CSCS card preferred
• Excellent attention to detail with strong reporting and communication skills
• Previous experience working in complex, high-security environments (desirable)
