About the Role and Key Responsibilities

TailorEDucation is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher for a permanent position within one of our partner schools. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher looking for long-term stability and career development within a supportive school environment.

You will be responsible for:

• Delivering engaging and curriculum-aligned lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics across Key Stages
• Planning, preparing, and assessing student work in line with national curriculum standards
• Supporting pupils of varying abilities to achieve their full potential
• Maintaining a safe and positive learning environment, including adherence to lab safety procedures
• Contributing to the wider school community and science department

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching Science in UK schools (KS3–KS5 desirable)
• Strong subject knowledge across one or more science disciplines
• Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
• A passion for science education and student achievement
