Quantity Surveyor - Preston - £45k - £70k (DOE) + car allowance + excellent benefitsOur client is well established commercial fit-out company based in Preston, due to continued growth and expansion they are now looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to join their team.Responsibilities will include:Preparing accurate estimates and cost plans for projects across multiple sectorsManaging project budgets, valuations, and forecasts throughout the contract lifecycleProducing bills of quantities, tender submissions, and cost breakdownsMonitoring project expenditure, identifying risks, and implementing cost control measuresManaging subcontractor accounts, including payments, variations, and claimsLiaising with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to negotiate and resolve commercial issuesSupporting project managers and senior leadership with commercial reportingContributing to business growth by providing input on tenders and bidding strategyThe ideal Candidate will have:Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Estimator within construction, ideally with a contractor or subcontractor backgroundStrong knowledge of JCT contracts and commercial management principlesExcellent negotiation, analytical, and organisational skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneouslyConfident communication skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholdersRelevant degree or equivalent experience in Quantity Surveying / Commercial ..... full job details .....
